Simon Edward Minter, otherwise known as Miniminter is a known YouTube star and a member of the group “Sidemen”. He posts videos of his gameplaying FIFA or other football games.
Early life:
Simon Edward Minter, aka Miniminter was born on September 7, 1992 in Hemel Hempstead in Herefordshire in England. He has spent his childhood in the same city.
He is one of three brothers and he is the youngest of them. His older brothers are named Johnny and Nick. He has a good relationship with both of his brothers and tries to spend more time with them, since he spends a lot of time on his PC.
They sometimes show up in his vlogs for example to make a Q&A video together with them. He explained to his viewers who his brothere are and the viewers seem to find them interesting in a combination.
Simon was a pupil at a private school called Berkhamsted School where pupils start to attend it at the age of three and continue their education until they are 18 years old.
He has met his best friend KSI un secondary school and KSI was a pupil also in Berkhampsted. They had problems at the beginning, fighting each other in class, and it even went as far as two of them psihically fighting in class.
After they were forced to reconciliate by they teacher, they found out that they have many things in common and they became best friends. They are unseparable since then.
Simon has done great in his GSCE in 2009, but he wasn’t that successfull in 2011. That caused hum not to be admitted to the university he wanted to go to so he waited one year with entering college.
He was 19 at the time and he decided to travel, see the world and make experiences. He went to Ghana for the period of three months, to teach the local population to play football and afterwards he travelled through the USA.
After he returned to England he enrolled the University of Hull to study criminology. He wants to become something in relation to crimes and investigational crew. But music was stronger.
Career development:
Simon was introduced to JJ in London in 2012 and in that conversation he learned about the success of JJ and his YouTube channel.
He got interested in making his own YouTube channel so he dropped out of college (which wasn’t very hard since he didn’t like it). Later he decided that he might go back because he started to find his life monotone and his parents were insisting.
He started to work for JJ, helping him with his clothing line called “Beast”.
He uploaded his first FIFA video in 2012 and in 2014 he moved to Sidemen House with other three members.
His main YouTube channel is called “miniminter” and he posts videos and vlogs connected to FIFA there.
The other channel is called “mm7games” and there he posts videos and gameplays of other video games, such as GTA.
He is considered to be one of the most hardworking Sidemen members sinc he posts videos since he uploads two, sometimes three videos a day on his channels.
He garnered over 8 million followers on his channels and social media accounts. This is a really big number for someone in his niche.
Other members of Sidemen are: KSI, Zerkaa, Behzinga, Vik, TBJZL and Wroetoshaw.
Personal life:
He has two brother, Nick and Johnny, and he gets along great with them. There aren’t any informations about his parents so it is very probable that they want to keep their life private and away from the media.
He lives in East London, in a Sidemen House. That means that all members of Sidemen live together in one house.
He is a big fan of Leeds United (his mother’s family came from Leeds) but he also likes Manchester United because both of his brothers are huge fans.
He is known for wearing a ring on his little finger and he once explained that it is a family tradition. He sticks to his family and he has a really special bond with all of his relatives. They have been taught to stay together since the young age.
His nickname “mini” as the part of “miniminter” comes from the fact that he is the youngest child and that he wasn’t very tall when he was younger.
He also goes by the nicknames Stimpy and Stimpypuff.
In 2016, he was one of the players at Southhampton’s charity football match against YouTube Allstars Team. He scored three goals and was given the ball for memento since he has been declared as the best player in the match.
He is the most popular player of all Sidemen and he earns a lot of money by vlogging and advertising. That helped him in getting his dream car which is a red Range Rover Evoque.
He is a big fan of a YouTuber called Nigahiga and his favorite actress is Megan Foxx.
